Replace Lead in Unibox lets you swap out an existing lead's email address mid-campaign — for example, when the original contact says they've left the company or gives you a better person to reach. The original lead stops receiving emails, and the new lead picks up the campaign from the beginning.
How to use Replace Lead
1. Open the conversation in Unibox for the lead you want to replace.
2. Click the three-dot (⋯) menu on the thread.
3. Select Replace Lead.
4. Enter the new lead's email address.
5. Confirm — the original lead is paused, and the new lead starts the campaign from Step 1.

What happens to the original lead
The original lead is removed from the active campaign and will no longer receive any emails. Their conversation history is preserved in Unibox for reference.
The new lead starts fresh from the first step of the campaign, so they receive the full sequence from the beginning.

When to use this
• A contact replies "I no longer work here — try Jane at [email protected]"
• A gatekeeper provides the actual decision maker's email
• A lead's email bounces and they reach out from a different address
Pro tip: After replacing the lead, add a note to the original thread summarizing the handoff so your team has context.
