What is AI Reply Agent?
The AI Reply Agent helps you automatically respond to incoming leads based on specific conditions and rules.
You can configure it to reply instantly, with a delay, or save replies as drafts for review.
What This Feature Does
Instead of replying manually to every lead, you can:
- Automatically reply to incoming emails
- Create rules based on labels (e.g., Interested)
- Handle multiple replies (not just the first reply)
- Save time while maintaining fast response speed
How to Set It Up
Step 1: Open the AI Reply Agent
You will find the AI reply agent button in your inbox.
Step 2: Add a New Rule
Click Add Rule
Give your rule a name (e.g., Interested Lead)
Select the label the rule should trigger on (example: Interested)
Choose the campaign on which the rule will apply
Choose which email account the reply will be sent from
You can also add CC email (it's optional)
After completing the above steps, it’s time to set up the AI.
In the response section, make sure you’ve selected AI Reply, as shown in the screenshot
You can select the AI model from which you prefer to generate replies. We have -
GPT - 5
GPT - 5 Mini
GPT - 4o
You will see a field to enter your prompt. This prompt tells the AI how to respond when the label is detected. (in the above screenshot, "enter your prompt here" field)

The more details you provide, the more accurate your replies will be
Test Your Prompt
You can paste a sample incoming message and click Test to preview how the AI would reply.
Step 3: Choose Your Sending Method
You have three options:
A. Prepare as Draft
AI writes the reply, but does not send it. It appears in Drafts for manual review.
Useful if you want to check before sending.
B. Reply Immediately
AI sends the email instantly after detecting the rule condition.
Best for speed and fast replies.
C. Reply With a Delay
AI sends the email after a set delay in:
Minutes
Days
You control the timing to match your workflow.
Step 4: Use the Confidence Filter
We have an extra safety setting:
“If AI confidence is low, save as a draft.”
When enabled:
The AI generates a response. If the confidence score is low, it does not send the reply and saves it as a draft.
This helps avoid wrong or risky auto-replies.
At last, you can choose if you want to add a label to the leads who have been auto-replied via the AI Reply Agent.
Manual Auto-Reply
Here, everything remains the same, just the reply will not be generated. You can type your own reply & our system will send it as a reply.
In the response section, you need to select the Manual Reply.
After you’ve done everything, click Save Changes
That’s all. Simple, fast, and done.
You’re now equipped with one of the most advanced AI tools.
Turning Off AI Reply Agent
Go to Unibox and click on AI Automation
A page will open. Click on the edit icon for the rule you want to change.
Then, simply toggle the switch from Enabled to Disabled. This will turn off the AI Reply Agent for that specific label.
