When running campaigns, some leads may reply with Out of Office (OOO) messages or automatic replies. Instead of stopping the sequence completely, PlusVibe lets you continue sending once the lead is back β with an option to push back the start date of the next step. This ensures your emails land at the right time, without losing momentum.
Enabling Out of Office and Automatic Reply Handling
To activate this feature:
Go to your Campaign Settings.
Scroll down to Safety Settings.
β
βToggle on Continue sending for Out of Office replies and Automatic replies.
Save your campaign settings.
Adding Additional Days
Once you have enabled, you can choose how many days to delay the next email after an OOO or automatic reply:
Under the same Safety Settings section, select one of the following options:
β
βUse AI to detect return date for next step
β PlusVibe will scan the OOO message for a return date. If none is specified, it will fall back to your manual day setting.Add additional X days from the date the reply was received
β Enter the number of days you want to delay before the sequence resumes.
Save your campaign settings.

How It Works in Practice
If a lead replies with an OOO message or an automatic reply, PlusVibe will not stop the sequence completely.
β
βInstead, it will push back the start date of the next step by the number of additional days youβve set.
β
βFor example: If a reply is marked OOO on August 1 and you add 3 days, the next sequence email will be sent starting August 4.

Best Practices
Use the AI detection option when targeting corporate contacts β many OOO messages include return dates.
β
βTest different delay lengths across campaigns to see which timing generates the highest reply rates.
β
βKeep this feature enabled if you run long campaigns where timing matters for engagement.
