Cease & Desist Letter

Updated over a week ago

Over the next couple of weeks, we will gradually migrate from the pipl.ai branding to plusvibe.ai. Please don't be surprised if you see both names appearing during this period — we're making the transition in a way that minimizes any functional disruptions and limits the impact on SEO.

Background:

We got hit with a cease and desist over the brand name (pipl.ai). So here’s the story. A while back, we launched under a name we loved. It was clean.

It had energy.

It had heart. But… it also had trademark baggage. We started to grow damn fast.
A bigger company noticed. Their lawyers noticed harder, and this month, the letter came in. Yep — a proper legal letter. Nicely formatted. Deeply annoying. We thought about fighting it.

We thought about tweaking it.

We thought about ignoring it. But after a couple days of ego, caffeine, and legal back-and-forth... we realized something: We’re not here to defend a name.

We’re here to build a category. A company. A movement. So — we will be letting go the company name and migrating to a new one next couple weeks. A name that’s 100% ours.

No confusion. No compromises. No goddamn lawyers. No changes to the app work or service interruption are expected for our users.

Just a new clean name, domain and branding. Folks who know us personally also know that we're straightforward and no-BS type of founders.

So here you have a bit of the pain we're going through now.

One last thing:

This name change doesn’t mean we pivoted.

We’re the same team.
Same product.
Same mission.

Just with a louder, more intentional brand behind it.

Thanks for being part of the ride.

More feature drops coming soon — new onboarding, better workflows, and deeper automation across the board.

We're building the future of outbound. Together.
